As you will be aware, the situation with COVID-19 is constantly changing and it could affect our ability to deliver services in the coming weeks and months.
Following the Department of Health and Social Care and Public Health England's guidance to avoid non-essential contact with others, with the health of our customers as our priority, we have taken the decision to cancel with immediate effect all Library, Museum and Archives groups, events and activities until the end of May.
All Libraries, Multi-service Centres and Customer Service Centres are now closed
All East Riding Museums are now closed until further notice. This includes East Riding Museum and Beverley Art Gallery in the Treasure House, Beverley Guildhall, Skidby Mill and Goole Museum. Parts of our museums service can still be found online
East Riding Archives is now closed until further notice. Parts of our archives service can still be found online
All countryside events are cancelled, however all areas will remain open to the public.
Beaches and promenades are open for exercise only.
Chalet bookings are being cancelled up to and including 30 May.
Customers have been contacted and have been offered a move to other dates or to have a refund. Refunds will be given as soon as possible after the office reopens.
2021 bookings will be on hold and will not take place on 1 April. We will announce the date when the chalets for next year go on sale at a later date.

The land train service will not be running this year until we are told is it safe to do so.
