Description

Welcome to Goole Library

Visit us in the heart of Goole. Make sure to visit the free museum upstairs (lift available)and there is a local studies library for local and family history research. There’s plenty to do with East Riding Libraries. Find out about events and meeting dates for our regular groups on the What’s On page. As a member you’ll get access to thousands of titles, including free eAudiobooks, eBooks, eComics, eMagazines, and eNewspapers to download anywhere, anytime. Plus access to a wide range of classical music, operas, ballet, and much more. Find out how to join and all the benefits of being a member on the memberships page.

Memberships

Browse all books available to borrow on the library catalogue. Use your library card number and pin to log in to your account to renew your loans online or reserve books to pick up at this branch.

Stay hydrated

East Riding Libraries are part of the refill network for free water. Just ask any member of staff to fill your water bottle for you.

All East Riding Libraries are part of the Online Centres Network. You can access free, self-paced IT courses with Learn My Way and 400+ free Technology Guides from Digital Unite on our computers. You have access to the following at this library. Charges only apply for printing and photocopying. (See our Fees and Charges):

The Goole Local Studies

Collection holds an extensive range of local and family history materials. Items range from historic maps and photographs to local historic newspapers on microfilm. Free long stay parking behind the building.

Accessibility

Level entrance, automatic door, public toilets next to library with radar key toilet.

Only assistance dogs are allowed on site.

There is an area where up to 10 single buggies or up to 3 mobility scooters or 3 wheelchairs, can be stored while you visit the library. There is no need to pre-book these spaces if attending an event at the library.

Please note, all items are left at the owner’s risk and East Riding Libraries cannot be held liable.

Public transport

It is a five minute walk to the train station and bus station in Goole.
